As a child, Pamela Terry's frequent visits to Atlanta's magnificent Fox Theatre fueled her imagination, sparking her interest in art, architecture, and beautiful design. Years later, she entered the design industry working in fine fabrics and color consultation, but quickly realized her skills would be best utilized in a more hands-on environment which enabled her to not only advise clients, but to implement her ideas, taking a design from sketchboard to completion. For the past seventeen years, she's served the Atlanta, Georgia area through her own company, and has specialized in full-service high-end residential interior decoration, utilizing exquisite fabrics, superior crafted furniture, and imaginative choices of art, lighting, and antiques. Pamela considers her main design influences to be John Fowler, Geoffrey Bennison and Sister Parish, all designers with imagination and a appreciation for the classic designs of the past. She continues to find inspiration in her frequent visits to historic homes and gardens in Britain, where the past is still present.
Pamela’s interest in historic preservation and conservation has been expressed through her service to The Forest Hills Preservation Group, a volunteer neighborhood association in her hometown of Smyrna, Georgia. She originated, and has served as committee chairman, for the group’s highly successful Forest Hills Home & Garden Tour for four years. The popular tour spotlights outstanding home renovations in the historic Smyrna neighborhood. Pamela lives in Forest Hills with her husband, professional songwriter Pat Terry, and their two dogs, Edward and Apple.
